During the Bachelor Degree in Business Economics, students will learn:

Year 1

The program begins by introducing students to the fundamental principles of economics, key theories, and analytical methods used to understand economic behavior and modern policy systems. Students will also deepen their knowledge of quantitative methods—such as mathematics and statistics—essential for analyzing economic data and solving real business problems. Additionally, they will explore the impact of emerging technologies on the future of work, examining cultural and organizational changes. The year concludes with the development of an entrepreneurial mindset focused on the circular economy, along with skills in UX/UI design and digital tools to create innovative, socially impactful solutions.

  • Module 1 | Introduction to prompting Principles | 15 ECTS / 30 UK Credits
    Go in depth in fundamental economic concepts and analytical methods to understand economic behavior and policymaking in modern economies. The module equips you with the essential foundation required for pursuing intermediate and specialized economic studies.
  • Module 2 | Quantitative Methods in Business and Economics | 15 ECTS / 30 UK Credits
    This module will introduce essential mathematical and statistical methods, applying a natural sciences approach to economic research and problem-solving. It strengthens your fundamental numerical skills to provide a quantitative foundation for advanced study in economics and business.
  • Module 3 | The Future of Work | 15 ECTS / 30 UK Credits
    Explore how emerging technologies reshape business models and workplace cultures, teaching you to identify future strategic opportunities analyzing the impact of rapid innovation on professional environments.
  • Module 4 | Business Enterprise | 15 ECTS / 30 UK Credits
    This module introduces the circular economy and guides you in developing a social-impact business idea into a tangible digital venture.

Year 3

Students will explore the future of business through the lens of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, cultivating critical and systemic thinking to propose solutions to global challenges. They will also study applied economics for business strategy, acquiring skills to analyze operational decisions and shape strategic choices in dynamic contexts. The year includes an in-depth study of financial markets, investment instruments, and sector regulations, providing a solid ethical and technical foundation in finance. To conclude the program, students will carry out an independent research project, applying what they have learned through a thorough analysis of a chosen topic while reflecting on their personal and professional development.

  • Module 1 | Reimagining the Future of Business and Society | 15 ECTS / 30 UK Credits
    Using a systems-thinking lens, you will analyze the global impact of the UN Sustainable Development Goals by exploring both utopian and dystopian future scenarios.
  • Module 2 | Topics in Economics for Managerial Decisions and Strategy | 15 ECTS / 30 UK Credits
    Apply economic analysis to evaluate how firms' strategic choices and operational responses impact their performance within national and global environments.
  • Module 3 | Financial Markets and Investment | 15 ECTS / 30 UK Credits
    This module provides a comprehensive guide to financial instruments and trading practices, covering everything from equities and bonds to derivatives and investment funds.
  • Module 4 | Independent Project | 15 ECTS / 30 UK Credits
    Learn how to conduct a significant piece of independent research on a relevant subject, applying systematic analysis and appropriate methodologies to produce a coherent final project.

Year 2

Students will delve into intermediate economic theory, developing analytical and methodological skills to understand economic behavior and decision-making at both individual and aggregate levels. Through the use of mathematical and statistical tools, they will learn to interpret real-world data and build well-founded economic arguments. The year also includes the development of a digital marketing strategy for a chosen organization, focusing on the customer journey, digital channels, and website creation. Finally, students will take part in a practical consulting project with a real company, applying their knowledge and managerial tools to address current business challenges.

  • Module 1 | Intermediate Economic Theory and Applications | 15 ECTS / 30 UK Credits
    Discover intermediate economic theories and analytical methods to evaluate economic behavior and policymaking at both individual and aggregate levels. You will develop advanced skills in mathematical and graphical analysis to systematically apply economic principles to complex domestic and international issues.
  • Module 2 | Applied Mathematics and Statistics for Economists | 15 ECTS / 30 UK Credits
    Develop your ability to use mathematical reasoning and statistical techniques to form formal economic arguments based on real-world data.
  • Module 3 | Digital Marketing in Practice | 15 ECTS / 30 UK Credits
